Full refurbishment, rear extension and loft conversion to existing cottage.

DESCRIPTION

Existing two bedroom cottage located within the heart of Gullane conservation area.  Original layout and circulation spaces had previously been extended and altered with an inner rear bedroom overlooking the conservatory and narrow kitchen which was accessed through the existing sitting room.  The cottage was extensively upgraded to create a four bedroom family holiday home.  Existing conservatory and external structural walls were removed and new extension built with a large open plan family, dining and kitchen area.  Existing vestibule was extended through the original bathroom to create a separate hallway and improve circulation spaces. A new bathroom with walk-in shower and additional storage space were formed on the ground floor level.  Roof space was converted providing two additional bedrooms and separate shower room accessed by a new staircase.
